Die 3 Colonias

Die 3 Colonias (the three Colonias, (:diː dʁa͜ɪ koˈloːnɪʲaːs), ) is a music group from Cologne with many activities in carnival. Their predominant language of performances is Colognian.
Singer Dieter Steudter founded them 1976, together with singer Oliver Hoff, accordion player Walter Haarhaus and contrabass player Paul Rumpen. The lineup changed occasionally til ash wednesday 2013, when Steuder left the band to become its manager. Only keyboarder Frank Morawa stayed. The two other band members were replaced by guitar player and singer Robert Lennerts and accordion player and singer Marcus Schmitter. The new band members were previously known as ' (the rogues, or the scallywags) since 2006, and ''ドイツ語:Die Original Bergischen '' (the original bergish land boys of fun), since 1990.〔(''Wechsel: Gaudibuam verstärken die Colonias'' ), Kölner Stadtanzeiger, 7. The best known recordings of ''Die 3 Colonias'' were published as singles during the 1980s. They were well received even outside the region, and include a drinking song ''Bier und ’nen Appelkorn'' (Beer, and an Apple Corn Schnapps) and ''In Afrika ist Muttertag'' (Now is Mothers Day in Africa).
